Description of content: Cocoa Products Regulations 2005 defines the categories of cocoa products.
It also defines the compositions and properties of cocoa products, permitted additives, maximum limits of contaminants, labelling of such products, ash limit of cocoa products processed with alkali and conditions for claim that food is cocoa based.
This Regulation contains 3 schedules: schedule 1 defines cocoa products composition and properties, schedule 2 provides list of permitted additives to be used and their maximum limits while schedule 3 states the limits of contaminants in cocoa products.
