Description of content: The notified Argentine Gas Standards NAG-204 and NAG-205 establish the minimum requirements for the manufacture, testing and operation of electrical apparatus for the detection of carbon monoxide (CO) and of natural gas or liquid petroleum gas, respectively, which are designed for continuous operation in domestic premises.
The aforementioned detection apparatus, whether domestically produced or imported, is subject to prior approval by the certification bodies recognized by ENARGAS, in accordance with National Regulatory Agency for Gas (ENARGAS) Resolution No. 138/95 (Annex II)
The notified Standards provide for a two-year adjustment period.
