此次被召回的产品在美国的销售数量约为71000个，在加拿大销售数量约为8000个。召回原因：折叠车前面的保险杆内注入的聚氨酯泡沫塑料及所配的座椅可能被儿童不断用嘴咬，若被儿童吞食，存在呛噎的危险。截止目前，加拿大卫生部及5514KM公司尚未接到相关事故报告，但UPPAbaby公司已接到22起因儿童牙咬而露出泡沫块的事故报告，但未造成人员伤亡。

为此，美国消费品安全委员会（CPSC）和加拿大卫生部建议消费者立即将保险杆从折叠车上移除，并与UPPAbaby公司联系免费获取保险杆罩及警示标签。
