Description of content: This draft technical regulation is concerned with General Requirements for Halal Food, which specifies the definitions of the product, and the general requirements for Halal food, which must be followed in each stage of the food chain for the products of halal foods, transportation, storage and labelling.

Objective and rationale, including the nature of urgent problems where applicable: As a Muslim country we are working to provide a reliable system for our citizens concerned with their special requirement for halal foods.
