Description of content: The proposed amendment seeks to:

1.    Establish requirements for temporarily permitted raw food materials to be listed on the Standards and Specifications for foods;

2.    Establish and revise the maximum residue limits for pesticides in foods:

-     Establish maximum residue limits for ipfencarbazone, tefuryltrione, triafamone, imazapic and imazapyr and expand the range of target agricultural products to 27 products;

-     Revise the maximum residue limit for bistrifluron in Korean cabbages and cabbages;

3.    Revise the names of target foods for the application of veterinary drugs in foods:

-     Revise meat to muscle for the application of Novobiocin, etc.; and

4.    Revise the analytical methods for veterinary drug residues in foods.
