越南信息和通讯管理局(Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam- MIC) 于2018年5月8日正式发布新法规(Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BTTTT)，将于2018年7月1日生效并取代现有法规(Circular 42/2016/TT-BTTTT)。

此外，越南信息和通讯管理局(Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam- MIC)也于2018年5月21日发布法规的指导方针(No. 1551/BTTTT-KHCN)，针对新法规 (Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BTTTT) 中几点项目进行厘清。
