Description of content: This technical regulation contains definitions of all kinds of chilled and frozen meat, chillier, freezer, thermal centre, drip percentage, and also include meet classes, grades, and cuts. Also include physical, chemical, microbiological and radiation characteristics for chilled and frozen meat. Include also methods of sampling and examination methods, packaging, transportation and storage, labelling of chilled and frozen meat.

Objective and rationale, including the nature of urgent problems where applicable: To maintain quality of this product, consumer protection and marketing relation of GCC countries and food safety.
