Description of content: Proposal P1039 has been prepared to consider food safety microbiological criteria for infant formula, aligning with international (Codex) standards and has prepared a draft food regulatory measure. Food Safety Criteria for Salmonella and Cronobacter spp have been included within a Schedule in the revised Code, (Schedule 27).
